Coach Jeremy Cohen

Jeremy Cohen is a lifelong swimmer. He has swum age group, high school, club swimming and division I college swimming (Univ. or Michigan). However, the most important part of his swimming career is Masters Swimming. In 1980, he discovered Masters swimming and has been swimming and competing ever since. “Masters swimming is much more fun than high school, club and college swimming. There is no pressure and the only goals are to be fit and have fun,” he says. In 2009, he achieved a lifetime goal of medaling at the national level. “What next,” he thought. As a swimmer and student of the sport, he decided to begin coaching because he felt that he had much to share with other swimmers. He has coached at Strawberry Canyon Aquatic Masters (now known as Cal Aquatic Masters), in Rhode Island at the Brown University Masters team and his old high school, and at Alameda Aquatic Masters.

Jeremy's humor, excitement and dedication shine through his workouts, and his knowledge is incomparable.
